The Subo Template Library Is Here: Ready-to-Run Surveys, Polls, and Quizzes
Every time we post a poll or a survey in our Support Server, the same thing happens. Someone asks: “How did you make that?” or: “Can you show me how it’s done?”
We get it. Surveys can be genuinely powerful tools for running a community, but power usually comes with complexity, and if you’re a busy community manager, creator, or marketer, that complexity is exactly the thing standing between you and a great survey.
Here’s what we believe: you shouldn’t have to be a professional researcher or a script-writer to build one.
So we did the hard part for you.
Proven templates, free to clone
The Subo Template Library is a growing collection of ready-to-run projects, more than 20 to start with. Each one is a real, working survey, poll, or quiz. Clone it in a single click, change the questions, swap in your own subject, point the rewards at your own roles, and it’s live in your community in minutes.
Every template is also an answer to “show me how it’s done.” Open one and you can see exactly how a good survey is put together, with the features already wired up and ready to learn from. It’s the fastest way to go from “I wish I could make that” to “I just made that.”
They’re built around the three things every community manager actually wants to do with their community: connect, understand and organize!
Connect with your community
The fun, high-participation stuff that brings people together.
- Event Prediction Contest lets your members predict the winners of a match, tournament, or awards show, keeps a live leaderboard, and reveals who called it. Great for the World Cup, a season finale, or your own in-game event.
- This-or-That and Tier-List polls take a simple vote and turn it into a conversation: members pick a side, then tell you why.
- Lore Trivia Quiz tests your community’s knowledge, gives instant right or wrong feedback, and awards an achievement to everyone who passes.
- Pick Your Favorite and Match Prediction polls bring emoji-rich options and a bit of friendly competition to something Discord keeps basic.
Understand them
The templates that help you discover what your members really think.
- Playtest and Beta Feedback measures what’s landing with proper rating scales and open questions.
- Community Health takes the temperature of your server, and the Suggestion Box collects ideas and asks the right follow-up automatically.
- Feature and Roadmap Vote asks what to build or do next, then asks the more useful question: why.
- Running something more like a business? There’s a whole research shelf too: Product-Market-Fit, Pricing, NPS, and a Churn survey that adapts to why someone’s leaving.
Organize your community
The templates that turn answers into action, so a survey does the work for you.
- Playtester Recruitment screens applicants and automatically grants a “Beta Tester” badge to everyone who qualifies.
- Bug Report Form figures out a bug’s priority on its own and tells the reporter where it landed.
- Governance / Proposal Vote runs a fully anonymous vote with a private “explain your choice” follow-up, so people can be honest.
- Scheduling polls, Feature Prioritization, and a Certification quiz that grants a badge when someone passes round out the shelf.
You don’t have to start from a blank page
The hardest part of making a survey isn’t the typing. It’s the blank canvas: not knowing where to start, whether your idea will work, or what’s even possible.
That’s the real thing the library solves. Browse it and you’ll see proven surveys that already create value in real communities, and you’ll probably spot a few you didn’t know you wanted. Clone the one closest to what you have in mind, and spend your time on the part that’s actually yours: the questions.
And you don’t need to be a professional market researcher or developer. Whether you run a game studio, a creator community, a Discord server, or a small business, there’s a one-click starting point waiting for you.
One more way we make this easier
Templates are the newest way we help you build,. They’ve never been the only one, and they won’t be the last. Making great surveys easy for busy community managers has been core to Subo from the start.
If you already know your goal, you can describe it in plain language and let Subo’s AI draft a full survey from your objective. If you’ve seen a survey you love on another server, you can clone it directly. Templates fill the gap between the two: an AI prompt still asks you to know exactly what you want (which can feel like its own kind of blank canvas), and not everyone has access to another server running great Subo surveys. A library of proven templates gives you the inspiration, and the “so that’s what’s possible” moment, that both of those can miss.
And we’re not done. This is one more step in a never-ending effort to make Subo the easiest way to build the best surveys.
Grab one wherever you work
The library shows up in all the places you already are:
- On the web: browse the full gallery at subo.gg/templates, then open one in the Subo Web App to preview it and clone it.
- In Discord: run
/templateright in your server and deploy one without leaving chat. - For developers and agents: every template is available through the Subo API too.
This is a starter set, not a finished one. We’ll keep adding templates for the moments communities care about, so there’s always something new to clone. Got an idea for one you’d like to see? Come tell us in the Support Server (run /support from any server to find it), and we may build it.
Next time you see a survey and think “I wish I could make that,” you can.
Want to see how one is put together before you clone it? The recipes take eight of these builds apart block by block: the scoring, the skip logic, and the roles or XP each one hands out. Pricing covers what runs on the free tier.
Subo is a community research tool for Discord servers. Run surveys, polls, and quizzes, reward participation with XP and roles, and understand what your members actually think.
